Add a watermark to a PDF
Type a short text and it is stamped diagonally across every page, in light gray so the page stays readable.
How to use Add watermark
- Choose or drop one PDF.
- Type the watermark text and pick light, medium, or strong.
- Press Add watermark and download watermarked.pdf.
Supported files and limits
- One PDF at a time, up to 50 MB and 300 pages.
- Text only, up to 40 basic English characters. Image watermarks are not available yet.

Can I use an image or logo?
Not yet. This tool adds text watermarks only.
Can the watermark be removed?
It is drawn on the page, but a determined person with PDF editing software may be able to remove it. Do not rely on it for security.
Which characters can I use?
Basic English letters, numbers, and punctuation.
